Award Winning Folk Band play at the Brook School!

On Friday 20th January we we delighted to welcome folk duo Megson into school. All of the children were fortunate on Friday to have the opportunity to listen and join in at one of two concerts in the school hall. Megson have been nominated four times for the prestigious Radio 2 folk awards.

Not only did Stu and Debs entertain the children with a mixture of their own songs, traditional folk ballads and tales, they also talked about the different instruments they played. There was the opportunity for the children to ask questions and several ‘singalongs’ which all the children enjoyed immensely. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to listen to such amazing music and singing.
