Last week on Friday 31st January, a team of girls from Year 6 attended the Year 5/6 ESFA Pokémon Cup Girls Football Competition, held at Swavesey Village College. Competition was fierce with 8 different schools, who had all won their previous rounds in the Cup, competing for a spot in the next round. Despite an initial loss to Fordham, the team rallied well, showing their resilience and determination to progress, winning one and drawing one of their final three matches. Narrowly missing out on the playoffs due to a last-minute goal by the opposing side, there were several notable perforamnces, with Camille in particular standing out by saving 5 penalties in the penalty shoot out!
