Year 4 Maths Challenge

On Thursday 26th January, four children from Year 4 attended a Maths Challenge at Saint Faith’s School in Cambridge.  The event ran throughout the afternoon and consisted of numerous Maths tasks that were completed in pairs.  Solving triangular tangrams was one of the rounds and this was particularly challenging.  Other included, quick addition, missing numbers, finding pairs and numerous other problem-solving style tasks.

It was a fantastic event with the children challenged throughout.  The way our children worked together was fantastic as they were supportive and encouraging of each other and worked quickly and systematically.  Although we didn’t place in the top three teams, the children should be so proud of themselves as they certainly did our school proud.

Well done all and thank you to the parents who helped with transport and supported at the event.
