  • HIBPS Girl's Football Tournament

Fri 28 Apr 2023 Mr Fallon

On Friday 28th April 2023, we welcomed four teams from The Park Primary School for a girl's football tournament involving years 2, 3 and 4.  The games were originally planned for the 'Let Girl's Play Football' day which was postponed due to heavy rain.  The eight teams were all given a Year 6 girls as a manager to organise the team and support throughout the event.

Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon of football with over 70 girls enjoying representing their school for the first time.

Well done to all those that took part, and we look forward to the return fixtures at The Park Primary School in the near future.

  • South Cambridgeshire Netball Finals

Thu 27 Apr 2023 Mr Fallon

On Thursday 27th April 2023, we sent two teams to the finals of the South Cambs netball tournament looking to try and book a place in the County Finals.  The Red team were in a tough group that included last year's winners, Coton, and finished runners up in the group winning 2 and losing 1 to Coton in a very tight game.  This put them into a group of the 4 runners up in which they performed brilliantly winning 2 and drawing 1 of the 3 games.

The Blue team qualified for this round having won the 'Plate' competition a week earlier at Comberton Village College.  We started with a 0-0 draw but, with much improved shooting, won our next 2 games to finish as the group winners and qualify for the County finals along with the other group winners: Trumpington, Coton and Swavesey.

The children are very much looking forward to the finals.

Well done to all the children who participated and thank you to all the parents who supported on the day.

    Mr Fallon
